ISS is seeking a Full-Time Self-Direction Broker in our Hauppauge Office.

Job Posting:


Works with Self-Directed Participants, their Family and Circle of Support to develop, submit, review and maintain their Self-Direction budget.
Provides education and training to the Participant and their Circle of Support per New York State standards.
Monitors expenditures to ensure they do not exceed the budget.
Provides assistance to Participant to review monthly spending.
Assists the Participant to properly document services according to Medicaid and OPWDD regulation and policy.
Assists Participant in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, scheduling and supervising Self- Hired Staff.
Works with Participant and Circle of Support to identify and develop community connections that support the aspects of the Self-Directed Plan/Budget. Travel as needed.


Bachelor’s degree in related field and completion of New York State’s OPWDD Broker training. Experience in working with individuals with disabilities and case management experience a plus. Valid Driver’s License. Ability to pass background checks as required.
