Independent Support Services, Inc. is a fiscal intermediary and is the “employer of record” in the Self-Direction model. We do not directly recruit, interview, hire, train, or supervise support staff. We are offering this as a courtesy to help Participants and their Circles of Support with their Self-Hired staff recruiting efforts. Our Participants and their Circles of Support are the “employing manager” and will be the ones who will review applications and resumes. If interested, they will contact the applicants directly to set up interviews.
