Dear ISS Stakeholders,

We are aware of a situation with our users who have optimum.net and optonline.net email addresses.  Portal generated emails – including the OTP (one-time passcode), expense submission confirmations, MSN approved, etc. – are not being accepted by the server/ISP.  We are sending them, but they are just bouncing back to us.  This seems to have started late on Monday, 10/4, and is ongoing.

We have reached out to our developers to see if there is anything that can be done at the system level to get optimum.net and optonline.net to accept our emails once again, but we are not hopeful of a fix as the issue seems to be outside of anything we can control.

For those trying to log into the Portal, we recommend simply requesting the code be sent via a text message to your cell phone.  Once logged in, you can switch your Primary Method from email to text so that happens automatically next time.  You can also change your email address for the OTP info at that point as well.  Visit https://help.issny.org/books/security/page/multi-factor-authentication-f45 for detailed help on that.  You are, of course, welcome to email us directly with any email address or phone number updates.  Just contact your SD Coordinator directly or email websupport@issny.org.
