Late last week, we confirmed an issue on our Portal when users trying to login were triggering the ‘too many attempts’ error after only two tries.

We temporarily disabled the OTP (one time passcode) limit until we could find the cause of the problem and get it fixed.  On the evening of Thursday, 11/30/23, we put the fix in place and re-enabled the limit.

You will trigger this limit after you send yourself three codes – regardless of whether or not you have those codes emailed or texted to you.  The first attempt is when you log in and select the method to receive the first code.  If you click resend code two more times, you will trigger the error message and must wait three minutes before you request another code.  Remember, only the last code requested will be valid.
