Dear Stakeholders,
We have received numerous responses to this event and we will send emails every week to keep you updated! See important information below.
- Event registration will close on September 1, so don’t wait to register. Go to issny.org and click on the link to the event at the top left side of the home page. You will receive a wrist band when you arrive at the event at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, NY, Sycamore Shelter, parking lot number 1. Each guest must register through the website to provide us with an accurate count for lunch.
- The rain date for this event is September 20th.
- Please send your questions to walkrollevent@issny.org.
- The path for the walk is 1 and 3/4 miles long, in a loop back to the starting location. You can, of course walk as far as you like within your comfort zone. Water stations will be available on the route.
- We will have a paramedic onsite if needed.
- Eisenhower Park has multiple wheelchair accessible facilities and restrooms.
- No dogs are allowed in the park and no bicycles are allowed on the trail for safety reasons.
- A box lunch will be provided with an assortment of different wraps.
- This is a Fund Raiser for the BARRY FUND for Self-Direction. 100% of donations will go to the fund. If you choose to solicit pledges from friends, family or neighbors for this great cause, please send them to ISS, 20 Crystal Street, Monticello, NY 12701.
