Hello everyone,
The date of our 1st Annual Walk N Roll event to support THE BARRY FUND for Self-Direction will be this coming Saturday,
September 19th, 2026. The weather is expected to be great but we do have a rain date scheduled for Sunday, September 20th, 2026 if needed. A notice will be placed on our website, www.issny.org on Thursday in case the event is moved to Sunday. Remember the park does not allow dogs so please leave them home. The location is Eisenhower Park, East Meadow, NY, Parking Lot #1, Field #1, Sycamore Pavillion.
The agenda is as follows:
9:30 am – Registration will begin but you can register at any time.
When you register you will receive a T-Shirt to memorialize the event , a bottle of water, and a wrist band.
10:00 am – The walk will begin but you are welcome to start at anytime.
10:30 am – 1:00 pm – Face painting and temporary tattoos will be available.
12:00 pm – Box Lunches will be handed out and the band MAYHEM LI will perform.
12:45 pm –1:15 pm – We will recognize the Direct Support Professional Awards winners.
The music resumes until 2 PM
Come enjoy great food, live music, networking and a day of fun – all while supporting this great cause.
